News is filtering through that Chelsea have finally managed to thrash out an acceptable deal with Bolton defender Gary Cahill. The centre back's personal terms and demands were believed to be the sticking point in finalising a deal. Manchester United reportedly rejected an approach from Cahill's agent and since then things have kicked up a notch with the Stamford Bridge Club.
It is thought that Cahill has (or will) sign a 5 year deal with Chelsea in the next 24 hours. The deal is thought to be worth in the region of £7 million to cash strapped Bolton Wanderers.
