Cast your mind back some time. Oh, to the 10th of July this year. So what's that (lazily checks calendar), 7 or 8 weeks ago? What did you read here? Well, I claimed that Wigan were interested in making an offer for a certain Bolton winger for a cut down price and was greeted with ridicule about the trustworthiness and accuracy of the story. As the weeks passed and nothing happened I started to lose hope and thought that perhaps my BoltonNuts contact had fed me duff information. That was until...
News broke on Sunday with the Daily Mail, Bolton News and others claiming that Wigan are making a move on Bolton midfielder Chung Yong Lee. The same news that we and Bolton Nuts brought you all those moons ago. We claimed that Wigan reckoned they could lure Lee away from the Reebok and get him at a bargain basement price of £3 million too. And it turns out that so far Wigan have lodged two failed bids of £2.5m and £3m but Bolton are thought to want more than double that figure. So next time you want the transfer gossip 7 weeks before everyone else check out my favourite football forum www.boltonnuts.co.uk! Is Elmander returning to BWFC?

Bolton Wanderers' organised another fan's forum giving BWFC supporters the opportunity to throw questions at Phil Gartside and Owen Coyle this evening. There were a few eye brow raising questions but none more so than when one fan asked, "To Phil Gartside. Do you accept that you are the common denominator in the demise of the club?"
Bolton Nuts have helpfully compiled a lit of about 20 of the best questions (and answers) from tonight's fans forum, including the club chairman's response to the above question. You can see a few of the questions here on the Bolton Nuts news page or click here to visit the Bolton Nuts forum for the full list and all the inside gossip. Of course, you can join in the discussion there too. Bolton Nut's, the newest Bolton Wanderers message board and fan forum is running several new contests for visitors to their website!
So far there are three competitions to choose from but there are more in the pipeline...
